Eight things are checked before the crate closes. One of them is the reason a perfectly good machine can still be useless on the morning it arrives.
Optics can be realigned. A missing fixture can follow on in a second parcel. But a machine set for the wrong supply cannot be talked around on the day it lands — and it is decided here, before the crate closes, not on your floor.
That is what it looks like in practice. The crate opens, the plug does not fit the socket or the supply is not what the unit was set for, and the bench waits while an electrician is booked and a transformer is sourced. Days, sometimes weeks, on a machine that was built and tested correctly.
The destination country’s supply is set on the unit before it is packed, and the plug fitted to match. That is why the order asks for voltage, phase and the socket you will actually plug into. Not to make the form longer — because this is the one detail nobody can correct from our side once the crate is sealed.
Stop before you unpack further and send us two things: the serial number and a photograph of the rating plate. Both tie back to the record of the machine that actually left here, which is the fastest route to a real answer rather than a guess.

Configuration, accessories and internal packing are photographed as they went in, so what was in the crate is documented rather than remembered.

Most of what goes wrong in transit is recoverable, but only if it is recorded before the driver leaves.
Corners, straps, any lean in the load, and any tilt or shock indicator on the crate itself.
Then write it on the carrier’s paperwork before you sign, and report it to the carrier within 3 days of delivery. A clean signature is hard to walk back afterwards.
